GSA FedRooms
GSA FedRooms® offers specially negotiated Federal government hotel rates with FEMA certified hotels, simplifying hotel selections for federal travelers. These rates are at or below per diem and often include value-added amenities unavailable through other government programs or websites, reducing travel costs for your government agency.
The FedRooms program is built on the concept of contracting with lodging properties for lodging needs. Through FedRooms, the government contracts with participating lodging providers to ensure that federal travelers are guaranteed a room at an established price. FedRooms is a way for federal travelers to be assured of a room at a reasonable rate. FedRooms results in more available guaranteed-price lodgings at negotiated discounted rates because of the government's buying power.
FedRooms rates are for Government employees and uniformed personnel on official (PCS and TDY) business travel. Contact your CTO/TMC and ask the FedRooms rate under the booking code “XVU (Xtra Value for yoU)” for participating properties.
FedRooms® is pleased to provide links to GSA-approved long-term lodging vendors, where travelers can view rates and make lodging reservations for long-term travel assignments. Long-term lodging vendors are approved by the GSA, but are not subject to the terms, conditions, and subsequent rate guarantees that apply to traditional FedRooms® participating properties.
Individual federal employees seeking to directly book lodging can take advantage of GSA FedRooms for TDY assignments. FedRooms extends the benefits of BOQ's Schedule 48 guaranteed pricing to individual federal personnel on official business. BOQ is listed in Schedule 48 - SIN 653-9 under Contract No. GS-33F-0010V.
